NOW all you do is type your information online using our easy new “online wizard. “ 4. The system verifies your information as you type it in.5. Your filing is committed and available to view within 15 minutes (at a reduced cost). NOTE: The convenience fee is on a sliding scale. What
Is Different in the New System?2. Print out the completed filing and mail it to the Secretary of State’s (SOS) Office with a check in the amount printed on the filing. The Secretary of States office will process the data you provided online when the check arrives. When your payment is received and posted, the filing is complete and your electronic acknowledgement will be sent within minutes. Slide6

Filer Phone number is optional.
Packet Number: This is an alphanumeric code entered by the user submitting the filing for their own reference, to help identify the filing in the future. This value will not be displayed on the form. Required.
Optional Filer Reference Data: This item is optional and is for filer's use only. For filer's convenience of reference, filer may enter any identifying information that filer may find useful. Do not include social security numbers or other personally identifiable information.
Farm Lien: Defaults to No, change to Yes if this is a Farm Lien filing.

The system assigns a Tracking Number for the filing.Collateral Designation: If applicable, select a collateral designation. If more than one Debtor has an interest in the collateral and the designation does not apply to the interest of all Debtors, consider filing a separate Financing Statement for each Debtor.Alternate Filing Type: Click to choose if this filing will be designated as a Transmitting Utility, Public Finance, or Manufactured-Home Transaction.
