CHARACTER Character is a distinctive value that integrates in one's self and is embodied in the minds, feelings and behaviors of everyday life based on the norms of religion, law, manners, culture, and customs. 2

CHARACTER It is related to a moral knowledge, a moral feelings, a moral behavior that become a habit in people’s life. It is about understanding, having and doing a good things that is a habit in people’s life.

RELIGIOUS It is love peace, tolerance, appreciating religious differences, follow the principle,belief, cooperation between religious, anti-corruption and violence, friendship, sincerity,does not impose the will, love the environment, and protect the small and invisible groups.

NASIONALISM It is the way of thinking, behaving, and committing to demonstrate the high loyalty, concern, and appreciation for the language, environment, social, cultural, economic and political nations and to place the interests of the nation and the nation above the self and group interest.

NASIONALISM It is also the value of cultural appreciation of the nation itself, preserving the national cultures, willingly sacrificed, brilliant, accomplished, love the nation, preserving the environment, law-abiding, discipline, respecting the diversity of cultures, tribes, and religions.

‘GOTONG ROYONG’ Gotong-Royong is an act of appreciating the spirit of cooperation, solving the common problems together, establishing communication and friendship, and assisting people who need help.

‘GOTONG ROYONG’ It includes being respect , cooperative, inclusive, committing to mutual decision on consensus, helping each other, doing solidarity, being empathic, supporting anti-discrimination and anti-violence, and also being helpful to people.

INDEPENDENT It is attitudes and behaviors that do not depend on others, in which use all energy, mind, time to make hope, dreams and ideals come true.

HAVING INTEGRITY It consists of doing hard work, having tough durability, having fighting power, being professional, creative, courage, and being a lifelong learner.

HAVING INTEGRITY Integrity is the underlying value of individual behavior based on how they can be a trustworthy person in their speaking, doing, and working and also a value of having a commitment to be loyal to humanitarian and moral values.

HAVING INTEGRITY Integrity character encompasses the attitude of responsibility as citizens who actively engage to the social life, through the consistency of actions and words based on righteousness.

HAVING INTEGRITY It consists values of honesty , loving for truth, loyalty, moral commitment, anti-corruption, justice, responsibility, transparency, and respect for individual dignity.

CHARACTER EDUCATION Character education is a way to teach the values of what is right and wrong and how to make the values as an habit. Therefore, learners/students can understand, feel and do a good things in their life. 21

GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING Guidance and counseling as an integral part of education is the effort to facilitate and establish students in order to achieve complete and optimal development.

GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING SERVICE Guidance and counseling aims to facilitate the development of learners/students to achieve their independence on the ability of understanding, accepting, directing, making decisions, and realizing themselves responsibly. Therefore, they can achieve happiness and prosperity in their life.

The Role of Guidance and Counseling To help to achieve the educational objectivesFocus on the achievement of guidance and counseling service objectives which is promoting the independence and self-control of learners based on good values.

The Role of Guidance and Counseling To apply the facilitation function and/or mentoring the students in order to have a noble/praiseworthy character which is in accordance with the norms of good values.

The Role of Guidance and Counseling The application of guidance curriculum is conducted by providing a regular service for students once a week.This service aims for a preventive, developmental, and preservative purposes.

The Role of Guidance and Counseling The guidance curriculum can be served in a classical and group settings. The materials are about the noble/good values in whole and suistainable concept.

The Role of Guidance and Counseling The application of the guidance and counseling principles in character education is by giving all students regular material about noble/good values in every week. The material provided is related to how to be a NOBLE/PRAISEWORTHY STUDENTS.

The Role of Guidance and Counseling The application of the strategic service is done by observing the number of individuals served (individual, group, classical, cross-class); types of problems encountered (guidance, counseling, and advocacy); and how to provide services (directly and using the media).

The Role of Guidance and Counseling The development of a classical service material is integrated with the four areas of guidance and counseling services.The materials are delivered in various method for facilitaing the development of students.
