Race Notice Teck Kinder Slaloms, Purden Mtn, Prince George 3 Slalom Races Feb. 26th and 27th, 201 1 Ho st Club : Prince George Ski Club, www.alpineski.ca Location : Pipe/Face, Purden Ski Village, Prince George, BC Sanction : BC Alpine Eligibility : E2, K1, K2, J, Masters Sunday Slalom is open to a ll registered Rio Tinto ANGSL Participants Rules : FIS rules with latest Precisions and Alpine C anada Alpine rules will govern. Local rules for RTANGSL event. Entries : Entries to be made either on - line at www.bcalpine.com or submitted on appropriate entry forms for non - FIS events. Include club, competitor card #, last and first name, year of birth, and NPS for each discipline. Entries to be sent to the Race Secretary.  Entry deadline: Wed. Feb. 23rd, 2011 at 6 pm . Please call for confirmation of registration if no confirmation is received within 48 hours of sending registration.  Race Secretary: Audrey Rowell email: arowell@sd57.bc.ca Phone: (250)967 - 0100 Entry Fee : - $35/day for K1, K2, J and Masters. $15 /day for E2 & NGSL racers . Fees are payable by cash or cheque to Prince George Ski Club ( no credit/debit cards ) and are to be paid prior to the Team Captain’s Meeting at 7pm on Friday Feb. 25, 2011 . Bib/Teardown Deposit : - $50.00 per tea m on a refundable cheque payable to Prince George Ski Club. Bib/Teardown deposits will be destroyed or be returned by request when bibs are accounted for and team tear - down obligations met. Lift Tickets : Ticket price $24/day for competitors and family mem bers, conditional on each Team representative purchasing the lift tickets from the Ticket Booth, as a group. 2 or 3 day tickets will be issued and can be paid for by club cheque, cash, credit or debit. Single day tickets for NGSL competitors on Sunday. Any competitior/family member that purchases their lift tickets directly from the Ticket Booth, (instead of being part of the group team purchase), can expect to pay regular posted rates. Protests : Protest fees are $50.00 , payable by cash only. Team Capt ain s Meeting Friday, Feb. 25 , 2010 at 7:00 pm. Location Carrier Sekani Family Services, 987 4th Avenue, Prince George BC. All racers are encouraged to attend. Warm up and Training areas : Locatio n TBA at Team Captain’s Meeting V olunteer online at www.bcalpine.com Volunteers will receive a complimentary lift ticket and lunch . Volunteers passes are not to be used for free skiing. Please note that the chairlift takes 10 - 12 minutes to get to the top of the mountain. Social : For parents and volunteers to be held at the Reimer’s, 7:00 pm Saturday, Feb. 26 at 4133 Montgomery Cresc ent. Athletes DSQ/DNF on 1st run of 2 run race will be allowed to take 2nd run at the end of the normal start - order. 2. 5 and 6 year old E 1s will be assessed a 2 second penalty per missed gate. 7 yrs and older E1s and E2s will be disqualified (DSQ) if correct passage not completed. For Sunday RTANGSL race, 2nd run start order will be the same as 1st run start order. **Schedule subject to change due to weather**
