Coastal Modeling: Oil Where Art Thou? Create a custom movement of where you think the oil may be go based on

eddies, currents, and the Mississippi River.

1. Click on either ‘oil slick’ & then click on the Animations

tab at the top. 2. Scroll through the different choices of animations &

choose Custom Path. 3. Draw your custom “oil transport”.

4. Click on the Animation Pane button (next to the different choices of animation).

5. Within the pane, you can alter the duration & start time of

each animation. 6. Add additional ‘oil slicks’ (copy & paste) or even create your own ‘oil slick’

(Insert tab --> Shapes button).

7. When you are finished, view the slide show.

1. Click on either ‘oil slick’ & then click on the Animations tab at the top. 2. Click on the

Custom Animation tab to the left. 3. The Animation Pane pops up on the right; click on Freeform.

4. A drop-down box appears; click on Scribble. 5.

Draw your custom “oil transport”.5. Within the pane, you can alter the

‘oil slicks’ (copy & paste) or even create your own ‘oil slick’ (Insert tab --> Shapes
