Privacy on Facebook

If you’re worried about privacy, go to settings and see what they offer

To find settings, click on the question mark on the blue tool bar and scroll down to SettingsUnder general account settings you’ll find the Privacy heading. It’s fairly straight forward, as the options you can choose have nice self-explanatory titles such as, “Who can see my stuff?” “Who can contact me?” and, importantly, “Who can look me up?”If you have an ex who is a crazy stalker, you can block specific people by going down the list on the left and selecting “Blocking” – then just follow the instructionsSlide4

Finding the TDCC Group

Along the top, embedded in the blue tool bar is a white box you can type things into – it’s your search box. It’s just like google.

This is us, and we’ll come up in your search results. You need to make a request to join the group, and there is a button called JOIN.

The club will respond granting you accessSlide5

The Mobile Apps

Depending on whether your device is Android, iPhone or Windows 10, the interfaces are all slightly different but in general:

Go to the app storeSearch for

facebook

or

flickr

Download as appropriate

You’ll have to login the first time, but your device should keep you logged in, even if you close the app

Uploading varies from operating system to operating system, but they like to make it nice and

obvious

If

you need a hand, do come and chat to one of

the committee

on a club night
