BirdsThe birds in the rainforest usually only live their in the winter, they live in cooler areas in the summer!
Many of the birds that live in the rainforest are kept as pets because of their looks. The birds live in areas called canopies, which are the upper leaves in a tree, or emergents which are located on the tops of the tallest trees.The larger birds in the rainforest even talk to each other by making sounds!

ReptilesMost of the reptiles that live in the rainforest lay eggs.The are cold blooded which means their body temperature depends on the environment.

Insects About 30,000,000 different types of insects in all the rainforests in the world.There are 2 different categories of insects in the rainforest.

Amphibians
There are more than 4,000 species of amphibians.
The most common rainforest amphibians are frogs.They complete the first part of the life cycle in water then move to land as adults!Slide8
