stands for the Continuing Education Recognition Program.The Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition (CCEPR) as an agency of the ADA recognizes providers of continuing dental education (CDE), not individual programs and activities.
What is CERP?
Slide4Recognition provides assurances to the public and governmental agencies (i.e., state licensing boards) that continuing education activities meet or exceed established standards for providing high quality educational experiences.
Why is this important?
Slide5Courses must have a sound scientific basis.
Learner centered educational objectives and goals are stated.Courses are free from commercial bias.A learning assessment or course evaluation completed by participants.What are these “standards”?
