Universal Robots discontinued sales of new CB2 robot systems in 2014. All s pare part sales , service , and support for CB2 robots will be discontinue d on 30 June 2022 . Universal Robots will accept last - time - buy orders for spare part s until 30 June 2 02 2 . Table 1 displays the remaining lifecycle milestones. Table 2 displays all part numbers affected by this notification. Product M igration CB 2 is superseded by the CB3 and e - Series robot families . C ustomer s with CB2 robot deployments can migrate to either a CB3 or e - Series robot system with equivalent payload and reach capability . The e - Series is Universal Robots’ most recent product family . Customers migrating to e - Series will enjoy the benefits of our latest hardware and software including increased performance in pose repeatability, adjustable safety functions , advanced sensing and communications control, tooling extensibility, and market - leading deployment experience.
