Although there are many books on those subjects, they still remain perplexing. I started my own research over 40 years ago. The best I found was when I did my own study of the entire Bible. First, I listed all faith and healing scriptures. Then, I trimmed my long list. Next, I personalized the remaining scriptures. Finally, I started meditating on them. This eBook contains my personal list of healing scriptures. As you meditate on these promises, they drop from your head to your heart. This is when you change from mental assent to belief. When this happens, you tap into a supernatural portal called the Kingdom of Heaven. As you meditate on this list of scriptures, faith and healing will no longer be a mystery! How to Meditate On Scripture How to Meditate On Scripture “ Meditate ” in the Hebrew language means “to speak or mutter.” Therefore, the Jewish way to meditate is to mumble out loud the Words of God. When meditating on Scripture, I do the following (examples found in the box to the right): 1 ) Personalize the verse. 2 ) Visualize yourself doing what the verse says. 3 ) Speak the verse out loud. 4 ) Add descriptive wording. Psalm 91:1 [Personalizing] “He who dwells...” [Unpersonalized] becomes “I dwell...” [Personalized] Psalm 91:1 [Descriptive Wording] “I dwell, [I actually breathe and live inhaling the rare�ed air of heaven] in the secret place of the Most High...” 3 How to Meditate On Scripture How to Meditate On Scripture You must not just be meditating without experiential knowledge of Jesus otherwise it is just religious. To obtain experiential knowledge of God you must believe He sent Jesus to die for your sins and confess Him out loud as your Lord and Savior and ask Him to live in you. You receive deeper experiential knowledge by reading the Bible daily, praying in tongues daily and living a life of praise and worship by being constantly aware that the Messiah is living in you, loves you and is guiding you. Enjoy His presence 24/7. Experience more of Him each day. Really make Him Lord. Then it will dawn on you that you are totally whole in Him! 4 Your Healing Scriptures List Joshua 1:7-8 I am strong and very courageous. I am careful to obey all the instructions... I do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. This is why I am successful in everything I do. I study this Book of Instruction continually . I meditate on it day and night ... Only then will I prosper and succeed in all I do. Hebrews 11:6 Now, without faith it is impossible to please Him at all. For he who comes to God must of the necessity in the nature of the case believe that He exists, that He also becomes a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him out. 6 Healing Scriptures Mark 11:23-24 (If I would)...say to this mountain, ‘you must immediately be removed and you must immediately be cast into the sea,’ and would not doubt in my heart but would believe that what I am saying is happening, it will be to me . I must continally pray for everything, then for whatever I am asking, I believe that I have taken it, and it will be there for me. 7 Romans 10:17 ...my faith comes by hearing , and hearing by the Word of God. [When I hear myself speaking God’s Word my faith grows and I become a God pleaser ]. Psalm 86:15 But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth. Healing Scriptures Romans 4:17-21 ...God...speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has promised] as if they [already] existed. ...[I call things that are not in existence as if they already exist] And not being weak with respect to his faith, [Abraham]... attentively considered his own body permanently dead, he being about one hundred years old, also the deadness of Sarah’s womb. Moreover, in view of the promise of God, he did not vacillate in the sphere of unbelief between two mutually exclusive expectations but was strengthened with respect to his faith, having given glory to God, and was fully persuaded that what He had He was able also to do... 8 Healing Scriptures Exodus 23:25-26 If I serve (Hebrew: “ worship” ) the Lord my God, He will bless my bread and my water. And He will take sickness away from the midst of me. He will the number of my days. 2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in Him are yes , and in Him Amen (so be it)... Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely He has borne my griefs (Hebrew: “pains”) And carried [away] my sorrows (Hebrew: “sicknesses”);... ...And by His stripes I am healed . 9 Healing Scriptures 10 Psalm 1:1-3 I am Blessed because...my delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law do I meditate (ponder by talking to myself) day and night. I am like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever I do shall prosper . Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance (the con�rmation, the title deed) of the things [I] hope for, being the proof of things [I] do not see and the conviction of their reality [my faith perceives as real fact what is not revealed to my senses]. Acts 10:38 ...God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. [I am anointed with the Holy Spirit and power. I do good by healing all who are oppressed by the devil, for God is with me]. Healing Scriptures Matthew 16:19 God has given me the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever I forbid to be done on earth shall have been already forbidden to be done in heaven and whatever I permit to be done on earth, shall have already been permitted to be done in heaven. [Sickness is already forbidden in heaven and in Jesus’ name I 11 Healing Scriptures Proverbs 4:20-22 I give attention to God’s words; I Incline my ear to His sayings. I do not let them depart from my eyes ; I keep them in the midst of my heart ; For they are life , and health to all Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I ask or think, according to the power that works in me . 2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for me, that I might become the righteousness of God in Him. [I am the righteousness of God in Him!]. Isaiah 54:17 No weapon [sickness is a weapon of the enemy] formed against me shall prosper...This is my heritage as a servant of the Lord... Healing Scriptures 12 Luke 10:19 Behold, I have been given the authority to advance by setting my foot upon snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any case harm me. John 10:10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy [sickness is stealing, killing and destroying]. Jesus came that I may have and enjoy life [health], and have it Matthew 28:18-19 And Jesus came and spoke...saying, “ All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore... [I have been delegated this same authority to make disciples].” 13 Healing Scriptures 14 Healing Scriptures 2 Peter 1:3-4 For His divine power has bestowed upon me all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him... [I know this because He has ] given to me exceedingly great and precious PROMISES... 1 John 3:8 For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil [my purpose is to destroy sickness by commanding it to leave in Jesus’ name]. 1 Peter 3:9 I do not repay evil for evil. I do not retaliate with insults when people insult me. Instead, I pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called me to do, and He will bless me for it. 15 Healing Scriptures Isaiah 55:10-12 For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, So shall God’s word be that goes forth from...[my mouth] It shall not return to...[me] void, But it shall accomplish what He pleases, And it shall prosper in the thing for which He sent it. For I shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace [completeness/shalom in spirit, soul and body]. Healing Scriptures Mark 9:23 Jesus said... “If you can believe, all things are possible...” Hebrews 6:12 ...through faith and patience I inherit the promises . Psalm 105:37 ...And there was none feeble among His tribes [I am His family!]. Psalm 107:20 He sent His word and healed me, And delivered me. 16 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. James 4:7 I resist the devil [I stand �rm against him], and he will �ee from me (as in terror). Isaiah 26:3 You will keep me in perfect peace (completeness), Because my mind is stayed on You... 17 Healing Scriptures Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord my God is in the midst of me , a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves/heals]! He will rejoice over me with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over me with singing. ...Every word which I shall speak which has no legitimate work, which is inoperative and thus morally useless and unpro�table, I shall give account of at the day of judgment, for by my words I shall my words shall I be condemned. [Thank God for repentance and the blood of Jesus!]. ...God has highly exalted Jesus and given Him the name which is above every name {your disease has a name. Now speak to that spirit of in�rmity in Jesus’ Name and it must leave. It will stay until it is sure you will not give up through weariness Matthew 12:36-37 Philippians 2:9-10 John 16:23 …I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that My Father will grant you whatever you ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM]. ...[I] ask and keep on asking and [I] will receive, so that my joy (gladness, delight) may be full and complete. 18 Healing Scriptures Psalm 91:9-10,16 Because I have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, my dwelling place, No evil [sickness] shall befall me, Nor shall any plague come near my dwelling; With long life God will satisfy me, And show me His salvation [healing]. James 1:2-4,12 I consider it wholly joyful...whenever I am enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations. I am assured and understand that the trial and proving of my faith brings out endurance and steadfastness and patience . I let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work in me, so that I may be perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing. I am blessed (happy, to be envied) when I am patient under trial and stand up under temptation, for when I have stood the test and been approved, I will receive [the victor’s] crown of life which God has promised to me because I love Him. 19 Healing Scriptures Galatians 6:9 ...I will not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time I will reap a harvest of blessing if I don’t give up. Proverbs 6:2 The devil tries to snare me by the words of my mouth; [I have put a guard on my mouth to agree with what God says]. 1 John 1:9 If I confess my sins, He is faithful and just to forgive my sins and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Psalm 103:2-3 Bless the Lord, O my soul, Who forgives all my iniquities, Who heals all my diseases . 2 Corinthians 4:13 ...I believed and therefore I spoke , I also believe [because I meditate on God’s Word day and night] and therefore speak... Deuteronomy 7:14-15 I shall be blessed above all peoples... And the Lord will take away from me all sickness... 20 Healing Scriptures Romans 8:11 ...the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me , He who raised Messiah from the dead will also give life [healing] to my mortal �esh through His Spirit who dwells in me. 1 John 5:14-15 according to His will, He hears me [sickness is not His will]. And if I know that He hears me, whatever I ask, I know that I have the petitions that I have asked of Him. Revelation 12:11 ...I overcome the devil [and his fruit of sickness] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony [every time I take communion, I disable the hold of sickness progressively more and more]... 21 Healing Scriptures 22 Healing Scriptures Psalm 84:11 No good thing will the Lord God withhold from me because I walk uprightly. 1 John 4:4 ...He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world. Matthew 6:14-15 For if I forgive people their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up resentment], my heavenly Father will also forgive me. But if I do not forgive others their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up resentment], neither will my Father forgive me my trespasses. [Forgiveness is a requirement. It is not an emotion or a feeling but a decision. It is not based on their deserving forgiveness any more than I deserved forgiveness. This does not mean I must trust the person. They must earn my trust. I choose to live in instant forgiveness !]. 1 John 4:17-18 ...as He is, so am I in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear...he who fears has not been made perfect in love [the love of God trumps fear]. Psalm 103:20 Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word heeding the voice of His word [His promises in my mouth]. Isaiah 40:31 Because I wait on the Lord My strength is renewed; I shall mount up with wings like eagles, I shall run and not be weary, I shall walk and not faint. John 20:29 Jesus said...“...Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed” [I am blessed because I believe before I see!]. Healing Scriptures 23 24 Healing Scriptures Matthews 9:27-30 As Jesus left the house, he was followed by two blind men...Jesus said to them, “Do you really believe I can do this?” They said, “Why, yes , Master!” He touched their eyes and said, “ become what you believe ” [I am becoming what I believe!]. John 17:3 And this is the eternal life, namely, that I might be having an experiential knowledge of You, the only genuine God, and of Him whom You comes as a result of my developing great intimacy with Him]. 25 Healing Scriptures Philippians 4:8 ...whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, I think on and weigh and not on the opposite!]. Matthew 6:10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven [there is no sickness in heaven]. Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation [healing, deliverance, protection]. So why should I be afraid? John 14:12 Jesus...said, if I steadfastly believe in Him, I will be able to do the things that He does; and I will do even greater things than these... 26 Healing Scriptures Deuteronomy 28:1-2, 7 ...if I diligently obey the voice of the Lord my God, to observe carefully all His commandments which He commands... God will set me high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon me and overtake me, because I obey the voice of the Lord my God: The Lord has already caused my enemies [sicknesses] who rise against me to be defeated before my face... Psalm 118:17 I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the Lord. 1 Peter 2:24 ..by whose stripes I was healed. Psalm 107:20 He sent His word and healed me... 27 Healing Scriptures 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, 8 I am patient and kind. I am not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. I do not demand my own way. I am not irritable, and I keep no record of being wronged. I do not rejoice about injustice but rejoice whenever the truth wins out. I never give up , never lose faith, I am always hopeful, and I endure through every circumstance. I never fail ! Psalm 92:14 Even in old age I will still produce fruit...
