Photo ID proof issued by Central /State Govt./Last attended School/ XII Admit card iii. Admit Card & Score Card of JEE (Main) - 2015 issued by CBSE (Downloaded copy) iv. Transfer Certificate / leaving certificate from school last studie d v. Migration certificate from the board vi. Class X marks sheet or Equivalent certificate vii. Class XII Board Certificate and Marks sheet of Qualifying examination viii. Passport, if the candidate has passed the qualifying examination from outside India. ix. Proof of place of examination Center of the final examination from the National Open School for candidates having senior secondary certificate. x. Social Category Certificate [OBC (NCL)/ SC / ST] issued by competent authority. xi. PwD Certificate (if Applicable) as per JoSAA 2015 Format xii. Ten passport size and five stamp size photographs identical to the one pasted on the JEE (Main) - 201 5 application form . xiii. One set of self - attested copies of all the documents listed above. xiv. Hostel fee s (DD only) , if Hostel Accommodation is r equir ed 2 Note: a. If the original certificates are not in Hindi/ English, duly certified Hindi/ English version/ translation of such certificates will be required . b. The original certificates and attested copies will be retained by the Institute. c. Candidates are instructed to keep sufficient number of Photostat copies of the original documents submitted. d. Candidate must be present in person along with parent / authorized guardian for taking admission at NIT Trichy. Admission in absentia (proxy) will not be allowed even on medical grounds. If the candidate does not report on the above mentioned date s and time, his/her admission is likely to be cancelled. e. Hostel Facilities: Separate Hostel facil ities are available for boys and girls. ii. Banking facility: State Bank of India (Branch Code: 1617) branch is functioning in NITT, Campus with ATM facilities. iii. Location of the Institute: NIT - Trichy is located about 22 km from Tiruchirappalli Junction / Ce ntral Bus stand on the Trichy - Thanjavur Highway. Trichy is also well - connected to the other cities of Tamil Nadu, southern Karnataka and Kerala through Govt./Private buses. One can get buses from Trichy to almost any part of the state, due to its geographi cal location in the center of Tamil Nadu. The Central bus station runs long distance services to major cities of the State and South India such as Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Erode, Thiruvananthapuram and Tirupathi. The simplest and most econo mical way to reach NIT - Trichy is by bus. Any city Bus at Tiruchirapalli Junction will tak e you to the central bus stand. To reach NIT, Trichy, kindly board Thanjavur bound mofosil or route bus. The journey time from Trichy will be around 40 minutes. The ex ecutive way of reaching NIT - Trichy will be hiring a taxi. Taxis may charge around Rs.500/ - . Tiruchirappalli is an important junction on the Southern Railway. It connects Chennai, Thanjavur , Madurai, Tirupati, Rameswaram, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Kolkata, Jam mu, New Delhi, Cochin and Mangalore. It has an international airport, and is connected with Chennai, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Colombo. 5. Dress Code Boys : All the boy students should come with formal dress to the class rooms & computer labs, pre ferably full pant and shirt. Wearing T - shirts and other informal dresses in the class rooms is strictly prohibited. Girls : All the girl students should come with formal dress to the class rooms & computer labs, in saree or churidar with dupatta.
