Purpose of the Survey
Goal:
To measure the early impact and document the first fruits of the V Encuentro process at the national level
Impact on diocesan staffing
Changes in the attitudes and perceptions of pastoral leaders
Participation and reach of the formative and missionary actions

Process of the Survey
A SurveyMonkey tool was created with 40 questions on 9 pages, English & Spanish
Invitation emails were sent to 194 Diocesan Chairs in our database, and three waves of reminders were sent
People responding by June 1 were eligible for a prize of 50 copies of the Pocket Gospels
All others will receive 10 copies.Slide9

Dioceses reported an increased awareness of the presence and needs of Hispanic Catholics among the priests and diocesan staff
Dioceses described major improvements in the attitudes and concern for Hispanic Catholics, including greater engagement of the Bishop
Dioceses saw new pastoral initiatives evolving and nearly all experienced collaboration with other diocesan offices, especially Catechesis/ Evangelization and Youth & Young Adult Min.Slide14
