Pre-AP Math will use the TI-84 plus calculator a little bit throughout the year.
- When they are tested over the 8

Grade Pre-Algebra
TEKS they will use the calculator

Grade TEKS they

be allowed to use the calculator

use the calculator on their STAAR test
Each student has access to a calculator in class
You may purchase the calculator if you wish, but it is not recommended. They will use the calculator full time starting 8
th
grade.
