1. It's been a busy time for the PTA and I can't quite believe we are heading towards the last term of school. I would like to thank each member of the PTA for the time and effort they have put into making sure each of this years events and activities have been a success. I would also like to thank the teachers for giving up their time and helping out at the PTA events. Also a huge thanks has to go towards all Carolside families for your fantastic and continued support.A large portion of PTA funding this year has gone towards the playground, making it a more welcoming area for the children, hopefully the weather will start to become warmer which will enable the children to use the Nature Lab at the front of the school. Funding is also going towards blackout curtains for the dining room and sports bibs with the Carolside logo for any sports activities outwith the school. Membership for the PTA is a two year commitment and we are NOW RECRUITING for members to join the PTA in August. We meet once a month, its informal and friendly and really does enable you to make a valuable contribution and make a difference for our children's school environment. If you are interested in joining the PTA in August please get in touch by emailing us. A huge amount of work goes into organising each of our fundraising events and initiatives. We rely on your support to make sure they are profitable, worthwhile and good fun. Please take the time to come along to our events. We also very much rely on our fantastic volunteers, local businesses and contacts of parents to provide support and sponsorship for events. Thank you.If you would like to get in touch with us to find out about how you can get involved, or for more information about any of our fundraisers, please email us at carolsidepta@gmail.com or facebook Carolside PTA.We looking forward to seeing you again and thank you for your continuing support for your school.Debbie ScottChairCarolside PTA Spring Newsletter March ‘13Uniform Evenings - Get organised for August 6.30-8pm, Dining HallLaunching the new Carolside Blazer - An affordable good quality blazer at just £24.95!
