The big Message

“The Holy Bible has exciting

adventures, beautiful poetry, inspiring stories, and wise counsel and instruction, but what is most remarkable is that each author and each book of the Bible expresses God’s love for us and His plan to save us from our sins

.”(Boonstra, 2006, p. 6) Slide5

The big Message

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does

.”-James 1:22-25 Slide6

The big Message

“Go

ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost…”

-Matthew 28:19Slide7

The small group Ministry

Subgroups are necessary for larger small groups.Intimacy and vulnerability among volunteers is key.

1 Corinthians 12:26

A micro-community of 3 to 12 Jesus followers doing the Christian life [of service] deeply together.

Follow Jesus’ example…He had his 12, and He had his 3.Slide8
