I know your works; you have a reputation for being alive, but you are dead. Revelation 3:1
Be alert and strengthen what remains, which is about to die, for I have not found your works complete before My God. Revelation 3:2

A reputation is what the public generally thinks about a person or organization. Reputations don’t always match reality! People and organizations always look better from a distance ! Reputation
Reputation We think we know someone, but the truth is that we only know the version of them that they choose to show us.
Reputations (good or bad) are built over time . A good reputation can be destroyed in a single moment . It takes a long time to move from a bad reputation to a good reputation. Reputation
God wants us to have a good (public) reputation – and for that (public) reputation to match our (private) reality. But our pursuit of a good reputation (public and private) should be for His glory, not our ego. Reputation
A good name is to be chosen over great wealth (Proverbs 22:1) . An overseer must be above reproach (1 Timothy 3:2) . The Christians at Jerusalem enjoyed the favor of al l the people (Acts 2:47) . The Christians at Lystra and Iconium spoke highly of Timothy (Acts 16:2) .
God wants us to have a good (public) reputation – and for that (public) reputation to match our (private) reality. But our pursuit of a good reputation (public and private) should be for God’s glory, not our ego. Reputation
Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of people, to be seen by them (Matthew 6:1) . Let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16) .
