May 10, 2011 Thank you for agreeing to be a speaker at the SOA in Healthcare Conference, hosted by HL7, Open Health Tools, the BPM/SOA Community of Practice and the Object Management Group. The conference will be taking place at The Hyatt Dulles Hotel in Herndon, Virginia, July 13-15, 2011. This letter sets out the details of your participation in the event: You agree to speak at the conference on the day and at the time determined by the Program Committee and stated in the program posted at: http://www.omg.org/news/meetings/HC-WS/program.htm You will be responsible for your own costs of attending and preparing for the Conference as well as your own travel costs. Speakers must register and pay for the conference, however speakers, including co-presenters and co-authors, are entitled to a 50% discount off the otherwise prevailing conference rates. You may register at http://www.omg.org/registration/HC-WS/index-sp.htm . You will provide OMG with an electronic copy of your presentation and associated materials, such as handouts by Friday, July 1, 2011. (.pdf preferred - .ppt or .pptx is also acceptable). We may reproduce these materials in hard copy and on a CD-ROM to be distributed at the meeting to attendees, and we may post the materials as presentations on our website. We may also audio or video record your presentation for future use as a podcast or webcast.
