Company History
In the early 1920’s, Maxwell Motor company hired Walter Chrysler to “rescue” or reorganize the company.
The first Chrysler vehicle was launched in January, 1924.
Chrysler Corporation was officially founded on June 6

Ownership/Financial Problems
In 1998 Chrysler partnered up with Daimler-Benz AG to create DaimlerChrysler.
In 2007 Chrysler was sold by Daimler to Cerberus Capital Management which later became Chrysler LLC.
In 2008 Chrysler LLC went bankrupt and received bailouts from both President Bush and Obama.
On June 10
th, 2009, Chrysler LLC got out of bankruptcy when it was sold to Fiat to form an alliance which is now known as Chrysler Group LLC.Slide5
