Undergraduate Grading System KIMEP has adopted a letter grading system of A, B, C, D, and F. For transcript purposes only, a Grade Point Average will be calculated and displayed on the transcript in accordance with the point system detailed below. Grade Points Numerical Scale Passing grades A+ Highest grade 4.33 90 - 100 A Excellent 4.00 85 - 89 A - Very good 3.67 80 - 84 B+ Good 3.33 77 - 79 B Good 3.00 73 - 76 B - Good 2.67 70 - 72 C+ Satisfactory 2.33 67 - 69 C Satisfactory 2.00 63 - 66 C - Satisfactory 1.67 60 - 62 D+ Passing grade 1.33 57 - 59 D Passing grade 1.00 53 - 56 D - Passing grade 0.67 50 - 52 ___________________________ F Failing 0.00 below 50 Other I Incomplete NA NA W Withdrawn NA NA AU Audit NA NA P Pass NA NA AW Administrative Withdraw al NA NA Grades A, B, C and D are passing grades. Grades below D - are failing grades and are not counted towards degree requirements. The Grade “I” (or incomplete) means that a student has not completed the course for which that grade has been awarded: a failure to comply with the requirements for rectifying the grade of I, means the grade will automatically become a grade of F for that course. The grade W denotes a student having withdr awn from a course after the date for proper withdrawal has passed. Graduate Grading System KIMEP has adopted a letter grading system of A, B, C, D, and F.
