4. MaterialsNWI-Defense LLC provides forging, fabricating and machining services primarily for molybdenum, tungsten, tantalum, TZM, niobium C-103 metals. As well as titanium, specialty steel, other ferrous and non-ferrous metals. We serve clients in the aerospace, defense, medical, chemical and electronics industries throughout the United States. The company maintains CNC lathe and milling machines. NWI Defense offers high-temperature cathodes and anodes, as well as furnace components. We also provide tungsten and molybdenum crucibles.

Forging Capabilities • (1) 1500 ton Mechanical Forge28” stroke 60”x40” part size capability at 20 cycles per minute continuous.• (2) 800 ton Mechanical Forges1 PLC (auto) controlled 20” stroke at 20 cycles per minute.1 manual controlled 10”stroke at 10 cycles per minute.• (2) Forging furnaces powered with natural gas capable of sustaining temperatures of up to 2500°F.
9. Machining Capabilities • Milling:-(2) CNC 3-Axis mills, 4th axis capable-(1) CNC 5-Axis mill (to be installed Q3 of 2021) • Turning:-(2) CNC lathes-(17) CNC 2-Axis lathes-(10) Manual lathes• Wire EDM:-(1) CNC 4-Axis EDM ( Agie Charmilles F1440cc)-(1) CNC EDM (to be installed Q3 2021)
