IntroWe all thought that eggshells will help a plant grow. Eggshells have calcium in them, which help plants grow. Radishes are one of the fastest growing, domesticated plants. The radish leaves contain as many nutrients as the fruit dose.
Methods: the steps we took for our egg shells to grow:we filled half the pot with soilwe put the egg shells in the potwe put in the seedwe covered the seed with soilwater the seedsplace in sunwait 21 days, water everydaypull out when done to measure
Results:Week 5 control: 2.5 inch plantsWeek 5 variable: 2.75 inch plants
Discussion: We hypothesized that egg shells would make longer radishes.The plants grew .25 inches longer with egg shells, than normal conditions.We would probably redo this project so that we could get better, and more exact results.
