1. The Government has given new guidance to people with Downs Syndrome .This is for Adults (over 18 years old)The Government have added adults with Downs syndrome to the list of people who are at most risk from COVID 19.We have sent this leaflet and letter to you because the Learning Disability Team have worked with you before.The Teams records say that you have Downs Syndrome.To keep your self as safe as possible. We suggest that you do the following things.Stay at home as much as you can.You can go out to exercise on your own.You can exercise with people you live with .You can exercise with people you are in a support bubble with.Corona Virus / COVID 19

2. You should not go to work unless you can work from home.The people you live with can go to work if they have not received a letter like this.You should go to any hospital or Doctors appointments you have.Get someone else to shop for you if you can. There are volunteers who can help with shopping. If you need help call 01865 897820Get someone else to go to the pharmacy for you if you can. If you don’t have anyone who can help you call 01865 897820

3. If you are feeling unwell, let someone know.If you have a temperature.OrHave lost you cant smell or taste things .OrIf you are coughing a lot.Call NHS 111 and they will give you advice.If anything in this leaflet about you health :Is worrying you or confusing youPlease call the Learning Disability Teams on:North Team 01865 903500City Team 01865 904555South Team 01865 903100You will need to leave your name on the answer machine.A member of staff will call you back.
