© 2017 Hilton Confidential and Proprietary 13 Visit the TMAW toolkit , which includes a shift brief, activity tip sheets and a variety of collateral options. Download the tools and resources you wish to use. Meet with your leadership team to plan how you’ll celebrate TMAW , the week of June 11-17. Identify at least one appreciation activity to implement with your team. Decorate your heart of house to create excitement for your team. Choose from a variety of TMAW layouts including pop-up banners, posters and flyers—and print what works best for your space. There are even customizable templates that you can personalize! Implement your activities and encourage your Team Members to enter the TMAW contests on the Recognition site for the chance to win great prizes. And, don’t forget to post your activities and pictures on your social channels using # WeAreHilton . TEAM MEMBER APPRECIATION WEEK HOW TO PARTICIPATE

© 2017 Hilton Confidential and Proprietary 14 CONTESTS Contest Themes Body: Healthy Treat Contest Get Active Contest (fitness/sports activity) Mind: Team Fun Contest ( team building activity) Inspiring Minds Contest (learning or inspirational activity) Spirit: Promoting Purpose Contest (Purpose-themed activity) Creative Recognition Contest Objectives Inspire hotels and offices to implement TMAW activities that align with Purpose and Thrive@Hilton. Encourage Team Members to share their TMAW spirit on social media.

© 2017 Hilton Confidential and Proprietary 15 CONTEST TIMING AND HOW TO ENTER June 11 – July 14 18 winners selected randomly Enter to win: Hotels and offices can submit contest entries on the Recognition site utilizing a simple form with a drop down menu for each contest theme. Hotels and offices are also encouraged to share their activities on social media using #WeAreHilton.All contest entries will be viewable on the Recognition site, and Team Members are encouraged to “like” their favorite ones. Three posts from each category will be randomly selected and winners will each receive $500 USD to use towards a team treat or activity.

16 TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL WEEK Meet with your full leadership team so they are all involved in the planning, share their ideas and take ownership for activating with their teams. Ensure every leader plays a role during the week! If you have a Team Member Committee (e.g. CARE Committee, Blue Energy Committee, etc.), be sure to engage them in the planning and activation. Make use of the materials in the TMAW toolkit to decorate your heart-of-house areas. Be sure to use the customizable templates so the collateral is even more relevant and personalized for your team.Review the tip sheets for ideas on how to implement activities focused on Thrive: Body, Mind and Spirit.Download the leader shift brief, customize it and ensure all department heads are sharing it with their team on the first day of TMAW.Be sure to schedule activities across days/shifts so you don’t miss any Team Members (for example, ensure you are doing something for your overnight Team Members).Take lots of pictures and post them on your heart-of-house notice boards and social channels throughout the week. Be sure to submit your contest entries on the Recognition website.Consider involving your Owners in Team Member Appreciation Week, if appropriate.Wrap up your week by emphasizing with your team how recognition takes place all year long and share how you will continue to show your appreciation (e.g. Catch Me at My Best, other planned events, etc.) And, be sure to let them know that there will be lots more news about Thrive@Hilton in the months to come.
