With Séance, you can adjust the image parameters (Brightness, Gamma, Saturation, Hue, etc.) or trim the Cine movie by setting In and Out points. You can even perform HS-SDI play out for devices such as AJA’s KiPro or Kona boards. Once you have made your adjustments, you can batch download Cine movies without having to wait around. Color adjustments can be made on a shot by shot basis. You can tweak the settings to give your imagery the look that you want, before downloading the footage to your Cine le. Using the same color science that the Phantom Cameras use, the Cine Preview provides a match to what the DP expects to see. This also matches what will be displayed by the Phantom Cine Toolkit, providing consistent color through the post process.Embedded Time Code and Reel Names With the introduction of the Phantom Flex, SMTPE Time Code became available. Soon afterwards, most Phantom Cameras could internally generate a SMPTE Time Code time stamp even if they didn't include SMTPE Time Code hardware! With Séance, you can now save that TimeCode information right into the Cine le.Along with the Time Code stamp, you can now save a reel name too. With these two features, your post-production workow becomes signicantly easier.Bad Pixel Detection & RepairLets face it, not all cameras are perfect. On some cameras, there is a faulty pixel. As Cine les save the raw untouched sensor data, these faulty pixels can sometimes be saved into the le. Many Editorial and Color Grading packages are unable to detect and x these pixels. With Séance, you can optionally repair these pixels before the data is saved into the Cine le. Your Colorist will never see a white dot again.Multiple Save DestinationsInstead of saving a Cine le to a drive and then spending hours copying those les to other drives, why not write to all the drives at once? With Séance, you can specify an unlimited number of Save destinations. While you are downloading, each location gets an exact duplicate of the Cine le, saving you hours of le copying. Subfolders are also created across each volume for those productions that need a pre-determined directory structure.
