איך זה קרה מתיישב הגיע לנמל ואז התחיל תהליך ההסתגלות המבוססים שבין המתיישבים קנו אדמה והתחילו לעבוד אותה אחרים החלו לעבוד כפועלים שכירים ואז חסכו כסף או לקחו הלוואה ואז קנו את הקרקע חלק מהמתיישבים מכרו את עצמם לעבדים לעתים עוד באירופה ואז הגיעו לאמריקה חלקם ריצה את שנות העבדות וחלקם ברח באמריקה והחל את חייו מחדש
