activities undertaken by all the Ports:1. The Assessment Parameters of Sanitation and Cleanliness was based on the efforts undertaken to counter waste-generating sources with regard to:
Incoming ships – Waste segregation, solid and liquid waste management. Port Operations and Office Area – Bulk solid and liquid waste management, open defecation and IEC initiatives. Township Area – Residential and Commercial areas - Solid and liquid waste, open defecation, IEC and behavior change and initiatives for beautification of Ports.2. The Assessment Methodology included official’s interviews, direct observation by QCI team and stakeholder interaction. Slide14
