The Accelerated Collegiate Experience (ACE): Full time program limited to qualified junior and senior high school students. Students can not take any courses at GCHS.3.7 weighted academic GPA and 3.0 unweighted GPA. Minimum Standardized Test Scores: ACT : 23 Composite Minimums: Math 20, Reading 20, English 20 SAT: Composite Score: 1140 combined Evidence Based Reading / Writing & Math Minimums: Evidence Based Reading & Writing: 500 Math Score: 500 SAT Sub tests math: 24; reading :24 and writing/language: 25 Applications are on the FGCU.edu website for the ACE program. Dual Enrollment Grades are Permanent College Grades Admission Officers asked us to make it clear to the parents and students: If you choose to do dual enrollment you will start your college transcript and grade point average the minute you earn your first dual enrollment credit.

2017-2018 SAT & ACT Test Dates www.collegeboard.org Next Test November 4, 2017www.act.orgNext test December 9, 2017 To support students and families affected by Hurricane Irma, the College Board will offer a free November SAT registration. Juniors and Seniors who are registered for the November 4 th SAT should call Customer Service to receive a refund of their registration and late fee.  Students can register and contact Customer Service through October 25 th . To reach Customer Service, please call 866-756-7346   This includes Late Fee Registration Costs and the Writing Section of SAT

Applications completed by student on College/University website. ACT and SAT testing scores: must be officially sent from act.org and collegeboard.org. Transcripts are sent from GCHS counseling dept. Forms are in the counseling office.Applying to CollegeFall of Senior Year

Please visit colleges and tour their facilities. There are open house dates on all the college websites. This is a great experience.

The $30 application fee will be waived. Common Application CommonApp.org is currently accepted by over 450 colleges and universities; many of these are private schools.  The idea was to make the admissions process more uniform and save students time in entering the same information over and over.Boston University, University of Michigan etc.Send.EDUPrivate & Out of State Colleges

Please complete at appropriate universitiesSSAR is an online form where you enter your high school and dual enrollment courses/grades as well as your 12th grade courses in progress. It is recommended that you get a unofficial transcript from Student Services Office to complete the SSAR.Look to see more SUS Schools move towards using SSAR in future.
