Tuesday’s Bell ringer: Short Answer Review: (COPY QUESTION) A teacher walks into a room and starts speaking to the class. Everyone turns and looks at the teacher. What listening strategy are they using when they turn and look? Why? W rite out scenario and answer question.

Wednesday’s bell ringer: Short Answer Review: (COPY QUESTION) While the teacher is talking, Jack asks a question related to what the teacher is teaching. What listening strategy is Jack using? Why?

voice We have a physical voice. What could be the “figurative” meaning of voice? When we have something to say and are able to freely say it, we have a voice. We all have a voice in this world. We need to speak in a way to be heard.

Literary nonfiction Nonfiction tells a story. It has elements of fiction and nonfiction. It has a plot with its elements of theme, etc. It also has the elements of nonfiction. Ex: autobiographies and biographies
