Jesus, the Very Heart of the Father

I. Jesus was sent by the Father as His representative.

A. He came to put a face on God (John 1:14; 8:19; 12:45; 14:7-9).

B. He came to speak the Father’s words (John 7:16; 12:49-50; 14:10, 24).

C. He came to work the Father’s

works

(John 5:19, 36; 9:4; 10:32, 37-38; 14:10-11).Slide3

D. He came to be about His Father’s

Conclusion: In the same way that Jesus revealed the heart of the Father to the world, we are also to reveal that same heart to the world.
