Jessica Wilsey Summer 2012 The Student Lee is a junior he has limited use of his left hand but can use his right arm quite well He uses a motorized chair and is strapped into a stander for short periods of the day He vocalizes but doesnt communicate with words write or use a communication device He has been resistant to using communication devices including the iPad and it isnt known what incentive would intrigue him to use one Lee uses a switch to blend his food but is fed by a support person he is easily distracted by the activities happening outside the windows and has even skipped class to run through the sprinklers He likes to go fast in his chair and sometimes risks running into people Support staff goes with Lee to his regular ed classes such as math He worked selling concessions and loved it However he has had extreme reactions to peanuts in the past and so he was removed from the concessions area for fear he would react to the products containing peanuts.
