It is a one of a kind showing of a true African building in Mali Africa it is made of all stuff that you can find in the wild and nature. Plus this building represents all the meaning and heart that the Africans put into there work. So it is a showing of using what is at hand and building a house of nothing but mud, earth and thatched roofs. So I have to say this is simply a style that we call African Vernacular. It is a tourist attraction now but it is the pride of the African people and much more then a tourist trap. The main reasons why I picked this is it shows what African buildings look like and what there houses are like. Plus we need an African building to be in this exhibit as a tribute to them and their history.. Church History,. Unit 6.
