Question

Reports on how to pull attendance information from the district level.  Example . . . how many students have 10 or more unexcused absences. When our historical grades was pulled in from NC Wise our middle and elementary students have courses that say included in GPA and Rank.  Will those grades be included in the students GPA and rank along with their grades 9 thru 12 grades?  We believe that they will not however just checking before we go in and fix all of those historical grades. Our test scores our under PowerSchool Test Score Tab however teachers do not have access to that tab.  How do we fix this so that teachers can see test scores for their students?Answer

This is very simple for Daily attendance schools by quick export using “DABS”, (article 55742 in PowerSource). Cannot be done at LEA level if you have both Daily and Period attendance schools. We have not found one yet.

It is our understanding that having this check is not affecting the GPA for HS students if there is 0 earned and 0 potential credits. The calculation for GPA is:round(sum(gpa_sum((gpa_gpapoints()*gpa_earnedcredit()))/sum(gpa_potentialcredit())),4)At this time, if teachers need to see this page, they will have to be give Admin. access. There is no link between PowerTeacher and the test pages.
