Sacrificed her children

Formed ungodly alliances with other nations
(v25-29) Paid them for the privilege
(v31-34)

Aren’t we the same?
God gave us life God gave us literally everything we have
We should be eternally grateful
... But we made idols out of his gifts to us
... And God is jealous for his bride
