Congratulations!!! You are about 85 school days away from being done with your Freshmen year. Hopefully Enid High is starting to feel like your new home away from home.In just a few short years you will be planning for your senior year!!! These years go by quickly so make the most of them!!!

Transcripts and enrollment forms will be handed out in your English class Monday, February 12 th.Enrollment Dates: February 14 th and 16 th . Feel free to mark things out and write things in as needed.Your form should list a minimum of 7 classes, and include failed CORE classes in place of electives.

Commonly Asked Questions Question Answer Can I take more than one Fine Arts Class per year? YES If I am done with my 2 nd year of foreign language/computers do I still have to take one next year.NO, you may choose another elective, or you could take a 3rd year if you desire.Can I take extra CORE classes in place of other electives?YES, you can take an extra history or science to get ahead, or enroll in failed core classes as needed.What classes count as general electives?Athletics, PE/Weight Training, Yearbook, FACS, Psychology/Sociology, Entrepreneurship Class, OR extra Fine Arts/Computers/Foreign Language, and extra CORE classes

Don’t forget Retaking required classes you have failedAre you done with your arts and foreign language/computer credits?Are you planning to graduate with HONORS ? Remember you need a 4 th year of all of your CORES, 2 years of Foreign Language, and an Enriched English and History. HONORS candidates: If you have not taken foreign language consider enrolling next year. Also an Enriched English is an important option to consider.Choose electives that help you explore your interests. Students who take meaningful electives tend to enjoy school more.
