National Seminar On “ Recent Advances in Mathematics and its Applications ” 12 th March, 2015 :: Organized by :: Department of Pure Mathematics University of Calcutta 35, Ballygunge Circular Road – 700019 OBJECTIVE Mathematics plays a key role in the development of various branches of science as well as in the understanding of physical world problem s. We would like to hold a one - day seminar on 12 th March, 2015 , on recent developments in Mathematics with a view to giving researchers an oppo rtunity to have interactions among themselves. There will be invited l ectures, paper reading and interactive sessions. Young researchers will be given opportunity to demonstrate their own works and have suggestions from experts. PARTICIPANTS Other than the invited speakers and contributors of research papers, any student/teacher of mathematics may also participate in the seminar.
