RACOÕsservice and three-service (power andvoice/data) floor boxes, which areavailable in cast iron, stamped steeland carpet flanges are offered inbrushed brass and textured thermoplastic in two designer colors,ivory and gray. In every kitchen, family room, dining room,living room, parlor, library, den, sun room, bedroom,ecreation room, or similar room or area of dwellingunits, receptacle outlets shall be installed so that nopoint along the floor line in any wall space is more than6 feet, measured horizontally, from an outlet in thatspace, including any wall space 2 feet or more in widthand the wall space occupied by fixed panels in exteriorwalls, but excluding sliding panels in exterior walls.
