What are Cross Sections?
Cross Sections are defined as the shape we get when cutting straight through an object. They can be determined by how the cross section flows…whether vertically or horizontally.
Horizontal cross section: a slice that runs between the bases.
Vertical cross section: a slice that runs from base to base.Diagonal cross section: a slice that is neither vertical or horizontal, but runs from corner to corner.Slide3
