Ensure the filter issitting properly in the filterholder and do not fill above themesh line.Close the reservoir lid.Slide the jug into the coffeemaker ensuring it sits correctlyon the hot plate . The jug lidmust be in place during thebrewing process, otherwise thenon-drip valve causing the filter to flood.Plug the filter coffee maker in atthe wall socket and switch ON.The LCD display illuminate to show the coffeemaker is working.Press the on/off button to startthe brewing process. The redpower light will glow and thecoffee will start to brew.Hot water will start to flowthrough the coffee grounds andinto the glass jug as coffee.When the coffee has beenmade, serve as required. Theanti-drip valve will prevent anyremaining coffee dripping ontothe hot plate. Ensure that thejug is replaced on the hot plateafter serving. While the coffeemaker is switched ON, the hotplate will keep the coffee warm.Switch off the coffee makerwhen the jug is empty or thecoffee is no longer required.WARNING: The coffee makerand hot plate are hot andremain hot for some timeafter switching off.Allow the unit to cool.Remove the permanent filterand empty the used coffeegrounds. Wash the filterimmediately and drythoroughly. RefillingSwitch off the coffee maker andallow 3 minutes to cool beforerefilling with cold water. To brew at a pre-set timePress the PROGRAM button.Note: If no buttons are pressed,the display will revert to thetime display within 10 seconds.Press the HOUR button.Then press the MINUTE buttonto set the desired start time.Press the AUTO button (greenlight glows).Note: Press the AUTO buttonagain to cancel pre-setbrewing. Adjustablewarming plate temperatureThis coffee maker gives you theoption of adjusting the StayWarm Setting to slightly reducethe temperature of the coffeeafter it has brewed.When brewing the coffee, aon the ‘warmer’ button. Inorder to reduce the Stay Warmsetting, push the ‘warmer’button once, and the steadyThis setting should be usedwhen the carafe is half full orless, to ensure the coffeequality is maintained.The Stay Warm setting willcontinue to operate as long asthe unit is ON and will shut offautomatically after two hours. When you begin to brew a newpot of coffee, the steadyorange light will reappear,indicating the Coffeemaker willmaintain the temperature of thehigher Stay Warm Setting.
