The current BWB landscape plantings are not consistent with the MSBU master plan
No consistency across landscaped areas – long term ad hoc implementation inconsistent with master plan
Much of the existing plantings have not been maintained and are unsightly or absent
Opportunity to reduce long term costs by replacing existing plantings with native plantings while presenting a low maintenance and pleasing landscape
Opportunity to update MSBU masterplan with links to a GIS map providing the location, content, and images of landscaped areas - supports efficient management and improved base landscape contract scope
The MSBU landscape contract will re-compete in the spring of 2026 providing an opportunity to re-define landscape maintance activity and scope IAW an updated master plan and GIS Data
Reduce long term sustainment contracting costs
The 2025 roll over of funds would provide a great start to the revitalization effort<br>

Street Corner Plantings (fallow panting beds along BWB Blvd and Bay Drive))
BWB Front Entrance (fill in sparce and missing plantings)
BWB Blvd Circle Outer Rim Landscaping (fill in sparce and missing plantings)
Abrams Park Area (revitalization of landscaping along park and lake)
Improvements:
Irrigation and plantings lower section of Bay Drive
Landscape Shield (for BWB Blvd stormwater pond (by golf villas))
Bay Drive Water View (remove brush enhancing water view, add plantings)
Woodlands Landscaping (Abrams Park to Woodlands Park)
Bay Drive Water View (clear brush and add plantings)<br>
