Overview of Title I Schoolwide Program While an emphasis is placed on students at risk of not meeting academic standards, all students at the school benefit from Title I funds. Materials, equipment, professional development, extended learning time, and teachers that are funded through Title I benefit all students and parents. Overview of Title I What is a title I school? Requirements of a Title I School Annual Title I Parent Meeting High Quality Curriculum Academic Assistance to the Most At-Risk Students Parent Involvement and Input Annual Evaluation of Title I Program(s) Timely Communication to Parents What are our school wide goals? Kdg-2nd Grade: The percentage of Genesis Innovation Academy Scholars, in grades K-2, scoring at or above grade level on the i-Ready diagnostic and Write Score testing administration will increase by 5-10 percentage points. 3rd- 8th Grade District Target Goals as measured by the Georgia Milestones Assessment System (GMAS) and i-Ready: 1. At least 70% of all scholars will read on or above grade level. 2. At least 70% of scholars will demonstrate grade level writing and use of language. 3. 80% of all scholars will demonstrate a minimum Scholar Growth Percentile (SGP) of 40 in mathematics. 2024-2025 Schoolwide Program Math and Reading Goals for Genesis Innovation Academy Genesis will expand research-based interventions for low performing students Implement inquiry-based learning curriculum with fidelity Use technology-based, adaptive mathematics programs to identify student strengths and weaknesses. Implement interventions to facilitate instruction and learning. Interventions will include Saturday school, Wednesday tutorial, and dedicated intervention block Provide focused instruction for Reading,separate from Writing/Grammar through 8th grade continued Use Performance Matters to create Authentic Assessments that measure understanding of the Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE) standards and identify areas
