General University Information Your OUAC pin numbers should be arriving late October/early November. We will distribute them once received.
For Ontario University information including prerequisites and averages please use www.ontariouniversitiesinfo.ca
Average is the top 6 U or M level Grade 12 courses including prerequisites. Will look at grade 11 marks for scholarships, early admission, but only if it helps the applicant.
Upgraded courses count in most cases although on occasion there are penalties imposed for a retaken course. If you aren’t sure, contact the admissions department of the school directly to find out how they deem summer school and upgraded courses. It is important to note that not all schools have changed this policy due to COVID-19.
You should try to visit your top University choices. Studies show that it helps with choices and success. We do have virtual visits booked specific for our school throughout the month of November. Also, most universities are hosting Virtual tours for this year. Click here for Virtual Events<br>

$150.00 per application and that allows you 3 program choices. You may apply to as many Ontario universities/programs as you wish (each additional choice is $50) ; however, you are limited to a maximum of 3 program choices at any 1 university (including affiliates).
International Students: additional $10.00 fee. You have unlimited additional choices, but each one costs $50.00.
Recommended that students pick at least 1 “sure bet”.
APPLY EARLY! We recommend before Christmas holidays; the actual deadline is January 13th, but it is beneficial to apply before that. You may make changes to both the university and or program , as long as you apply by the due date (additional charges may apply). The Universities you are interested in will e-mail and mail information you may need as soon as they receive your application. The longer you wait the more competitive it is.<br>

Supplemental applications Each University reserves the right to require Supplemental Applications and will set deadlines. The supplemental program fee is non-refundable and you pay it along with your OUAC application fee.

University Timelines PINs should be ready for pick up early November
Deadline for equal consideration is January 13th
Universities will receive your grade 12, quadmester 1 and 2 marks by February 10, 2022 and then your mid-term and quadmester 3 final marks of 2nd semester by April 28, 2022.
May 27th is the latest day an offer of admission will be made by a University.
June 1st the earliest date the Universities should require a response to an offer of admission.<br>

Universities outside of Ontario The OUAC only processes applications for Ontario Universities. For more information for a university outside of Ontario, please contact that specific university directly or visit https://www.univcan.ca/universities/
You will require a transcript to apply to these universities. You can request this from Mrs. Bartucci, our Student Services Secretary. Please don’t wait until the application due date, request your transcript ahead of time to avoid disappointment.
Make sure you are aware of their application due dates as they do differ from our Ontario deadlines.<br>

Check out university publications and university websites.
- Visit www.ontariouniversitiesinfo.ca to see what each university has to offer.
- Read the 101 Instruction Booklet and the 101 Addenda (available at www.OUAC.on.ca/ouac-101/) to get the most up-to-date program information.
- Check out university publications, website and tours. Find links to virtual events & tours (some schools still only have virtual tours available).
- Talk to counsellors, family, teachers, and friends.
Write down your program choices and codes and keep them handy. Make sure to note course requirements and that you have all those required courses scheduled in to be completed by the end of the school year. Marks are updated frequently so there is no disadvantage to a Quadmester system.
- NOTE: Most universities are returning to in-person learning and have a variety of Mental Health supports available to their students, as well as updated Equity & Inclusion policies.<br>

Step 3: Apply Record your username and password and keep them in a safe place. You will need them to access your application in the future. Keep this information confidential and secure.
Use your application access codes to log in to your application for the first time.

Review your program selections before clicking “I Verify and Agree”.
Submit your application, with payment, well before the 101 application deadline and any university program-specific deadlines.
Record your OUAC Reference Number and keep it in a safe place. You must refer to this number whenever you contact the OUAC or your university choices.

Finishing your application PRINT/SCREEN SHOT the screen displaying your 11 digit OUAC Reference Number and further instructions; it’s after the final “Submit” step. This is your official receipt.
