Gr. 12 University Applications OUAC: Ontario University Application Centre General University Information Your OUAC pin numbers should be arriving late October/early November. We will distribute them once received. For Ontario University information including prerequisites and averages please use www.ontariouniversitiesinfo.ca Average is the top 6 U or M level Grade 12 courses including prerequisites. Will look at grade 11 marks for scholarships, early admission, but only if it helps the applicant. Upgraded courses count in most cases although on occasion there are penalties imposed for a retaken course. If you aren’t sure, contact the admissions department of the school directly to find out how they deem summer school and upgraded courses. It is important to note that not all schools have changed this policy due to COVID-19. You should try to visit your top University choices. Studies show that it helps with choices and success. We do have virtual visits booked specific for our school throughout the month of November. Also, most universities are hosting Virtual tours for this year. Click here for Virtual Events Application Process for University Important site: www.ouac.on.ca $150.00 per application and that allows you 3 program choices. You may apply to as many Ontario universities/programs as you wish (each additional choice is $50) ; however, you are limited to a maximum of 3 program choices at any 1 university (including affiliates). International Students: additional $10.00 fee. You have unlimited additional choices, but each one costs $50.00. Recommended that students pick at least 1 “sure bet”. APPLY EARLY! We recommend before Christmas holidays; the actual deadline is January 13th, but it is beneficial to apply before that. You may make changes to both the university and or program , as long as you apply by the due date (additional charges may apply). The Universities you are interested in will e-mail and mail information you may need as soon as they receive your application. The longer you wait the more competitive it is. Supplemental applications Each University reserves the right to require Supplemental Applications and will set deadlines. The supplemental program fee is non-refundable and you pay it along with your OUAC application fee.
