Secretariat to consider next steps on the draft Code of Conduct on the Facilitation of Safe and Secure Transport of Radioactive Materials prepared by the Working Group<br>
slide4. Definitions “a (explicit or implicit) refusal to carry a shipment of radioactive material though it conforms to all the applicable Regulations.”
According to DoSWG,
definition is still relevant, some circumstances that are not covered by this definition warrant some updates to this definition. There are three situations that characterize a Denial or Delay of shipment, which are listed below:<br>

Structure: Chair from a Member State, and Co-Chair may be from Industry
Sub-Working Groups (SWGs):

SWG-3: Communication, Training and Outreach<br>
slide6. Proposed Code of Conduct on the Facilitation of the Safe and Secure Transport of Radioactive Material Recommended by the DoS WG
Reservations from Iran, Japan and Turkey
Voluntary nature, encouraging facilitation
Open-ended meeting of legal and technical experts is planned from 15-18 July 2024, Vienna on the draft Code of Conduct on the Facilitation of Safe and Secure Transport of Radioactive Material submitted by the Denial of Shipment Working Group<br>
