Many Vikings originated from Scandinavia (Sweden, Norway and Denmark)
They travelled by longboat to other countries like Britain and Ireland
Vikings do not have horns on their hats Want to know more? Research why the Vikings left Scandinavia to come to Britain
Research what difficulties they faced and how they had to survive (e.g. looking at settlements, how they gathered their food, what dangers there were to them at the time etc.)
Find out if they created anything which we still use today.
