Important Testing Dates (FSA/EOC/NGSSS) Paper Based & Computer Based Testing (PBT/ CBT) Slide 7 Monitor your child’s homework Use Technology (i-Ready, My-On, Reflex Math) Read together EVERY night. Ask you child questions. Make sure your child is using TEXT EVIDENCE. Practice Math facts Conference with your child’s teacher for areas of concern regarding your child. Intervention in Reading and Math. What are we doing to help your child? The Florida Standards are the content standards that identify the expectations for what students enrolled in Florida schools need to know and be able to do. Measures student performance based on the Florida State Standards. Information from the assessment is used to drive student instruction. The Florida Standards, adopted by the State Board of Education in February 2014, prepare Florida students for success in college, career, and life by emphasizing analytical thinking.
