Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD); physiotherapists; occupational therapists; paramedics.
Minimum 2 years post-registration experience (but many have much more)
Fully registered with governing body
What is a disability analyst?
Different focus to a clinical role but clinical experience is central to this role
Don’t diagnose, treat or offer advice. Diagnosis is the starting point – assessment of impact of medical conditions on daily tasks
Act objectively, considering all medical conditions together, all available evidence and offering an opinion.
