Extracting data from medical records to database while learning about the benefits and challenges of telemedicine<br>

Transport of Acutely ill and injured Children To Institutions of higher Care from Allied Localities “TACTICAL” 4-year study to improve pediatric readiness among ED and prehospital providers
Work with 20+ partner hospitals across North Coast EMS and Sierra-Sacramento Valley EMS regions to
Implement and improve pediatric-specific quality improvement in EDs
Increase readiness to evaluate and treat pediatric patients through telemedicine
Provide pediatric training in the management of acutely ill and injured children to prehospital and hospital providers

Ways to get involved:
Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) data analysis to identify baseline health outcomes
Participate in/help facilitate future trainings and hospital visits<br>

Increasing the Rates of Newborn Hearing Screening with Telehealth Philippine-California Advanced Research Institutes (PCARI) 2-year study to work in collaboration with UC Berkeley and the University of the Philippines, Manila to:
Assess the impact of a low-cost newborn hearing screening device through the implementation of a tele-audiology program
Assist in developing solutions to transfer data via telemedicine technologies to the central Hearing Coordination Center to improve tracking measures
