Key Achievements of the PFA (2023–Present) Strengthened PFA human resources (staffing and training) Equipped and adapted a dedicated training facility within the MoF Developed methodological tools: Methodology for PFA operations, Manual for Developing Training Curricula) Designed a concept to transform PFA into a learning organization Adopted the Annual Work Program of PFA for 2025 Outlined key priorities in PFM Strategy Completed TNA and developed: Comprehensive report, Annual Training Plan for 2024 (6 topics) and 2025 (11 topics); process ongoing for 2026 Delivered 17 trainings with a total of 340 participants (2024–present) Established cooperation with international partners Formalized additional partnerships through memorandums of understanding Created a pool of trainers Built a network with central and local level institutions 5 5. Training Program Growth: 2024 vs 2025 6 Participants grew from 111 to 229 (+106%) The number of trainings increased from 5 in 2024 to 14 in 2025 (+180%). 6. Next steps 7 Establishing e-learning platform, Develop key strategic frameworks: Communication Strategy with Action Plan, Strategy for Monitoring, Evaluation & Improvement of Trainings and Overall Performance, PFA Competency Framework for Trainers, Manual on Rights and Obligations of Trainers and Trainees, Methodology for Preparing Annual Training Programs for Head servants, Implement a targeted media campaign and distribute promotional materials, Increasing the number of trainers, Organize the annual end-of-year meeting, Training of Trainers (ToT) on Sustainable Finance for PFA staff. 7. PIM Training Experience and Next Steps in N. Macedonia Training Experience Conducted General Training Needs Assessment (TNA), Specialized ToT for PIM and PFA employees, organized by World Bank, Delivered PIM training sessions for public servants on a central and local level in collaboration with the World Bank (3 trainings, 59 participants), Raised awareness on the importance of effective investment planning and evaluation, Strengthened institutional understanding of the PIM framework and its application. Next Steps Integrate PIM content into the Annual Training Program of the PFA for 2026, Design a specialized TNA questionnaire to assess specific PIM training needs, Develop advanced and tailored PIM training modules, Strengthen institutional partnerships with the World Bank and other national and international partners, Monitor and evaluate training impact, Establish a PIM learning community for peer exchange and continuous learning (when PFA will have the
