Wilfred Owen Born in 1893. Enlisted in the army in 1915. He was inspired to enlist after visiting the wounded in hospital. Owen was injured and sent home in 1917. In 1918 he returned to the front line. November 4th, 1918: Owen was killed by machine gun fire.
