Facilitate transnational cooperation, peer learning, networking and innovation uptake between actors of different clusters
Supports SME and scaling-up support organisations to strengthen their strategic cross-border cooperation activities
How?
By spending periods of time in a partner cluster/SME/scaling-up support organisation in another country (exchange)<br>
slide3. Eligibility criteria for participants Eligible organisations:
Cluster organisations and business network organisations
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that are member of a cluster
Scaling-up support organisations (technology centre, research institute, fab-lab, resource-efficiency service provider, innovation hub, creative hub, incubator and accelerator) that are member of a cluster
From countries participating in the COSME programme can participate as Hosting Organisations(HO) Visiting Organisations(VO)<br>
slide4. Benefits for hosts (HO) Expand your network of contacts and develop strong cross-border partnerships
Access new skills and innovative knowledge provided by a visitor (experts, researchers…)
Increase the visibility of your organisation, services and products in relevant communities
Internationalise your business gaining knowledge about the visitor's domestic markets
Develop innovative ideas<br>
slide5. Benefits for visitors (VO) Financial support to travel costs
Staying abroad and meeting international players in real
To close stronger partnerships
To elaborate/write project proposals together
To work with your tech/research partners on R&D projects
Broadening network of contacts, developing new international business opportunities and partnerships
Taking part to networking events (Conferences, fair, B2B showrooms…)
Find innovative solutions to upgrade your business, products and services
Gaining knowledge about foreign markets & cultures, and get access<br>
slide6. Financial support - conditions Lump sum is paid if the distance between the 2 involved organisations is at least 200 km and cross-border
Amount of the lump sum
Maximum amount depending on Host country
Each organisation benefit from the pilot scheme only once as a VO
Organisations can host an exchange multiple times and simultaneously (group of exchanges) as a HO.<br>

2-year EU funded project (COSME)
Focus: skills, processes and services related to digital transformation – enabling internationalisation of the cluster and their company members.
Consortium: 6 European ICT clusters and scale-up organisations from Eastern and Western Europe Exchange of Clusters using Digital Transformation for Excellence<br>
