THE RULE OF PROGRESSION

Give It a Holistically View It is interrelated with other subjects.
The success of stewardship depends on the success of other areas

USE IT AS A TOOLMatthew 24:14 People who are tired of this world should naturally be faithful stewards so as to hasten the soon coming of our Lord, Jesus. Returning tithe is a sure way of finishing the unfinished business of presenting Christ to the world and have people prepare for His coming.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERN We have destroyed our ecology to such an extent that planet earth is no longer able to sustain us sufficiently. Planet earth is groaning because of what we are doing. Romans 8:22-23.

PRESENT FROM ESCARTOLOGICAL VIEW- POINT Our Prophetic heritage reminds us where we are in history. Life is not static
Dr Matandiko argues that a “stewardship leader who weaves in prophecy in his presentation will become very successful”, 159.

FAMILY LIFE SLANT Stewardship blends very well with family life.

SHOW THAT STEWARDSHIP IS A FRIEND It helps us have good health It answers our quest to make ends meet

Use Prayer Present stewardship prayerfully.
“The measure of the preacher’s power for real good to men is the measure of his prayer to God, for himself and for his people. Power Through Prayer, 21

CENTER IT ON CHRIST People should see Jesus in our stewardship lessons
Show the connection between the aspect of stewardship with Christ

“To remove the cross from the Christian would be like blotting the sun from the sky,” AA, 209
“The truth, with others included in the message, is to be proclaimed; but the great center of attraction, Christ Jesus, must not be left out,” GW, 156
“Every true doctrine makes Christ the center,” 6T54.
