slide2. 2 Towards a shared CRIS Our goal Handling the complexity of « UMR » (standing for “Unité Mixte de Recherche” i.e. joint research centres between several independent institutions in the field of research and/or higher education)
Pooling existing software applications
Providing consistent and comprehensive data to avoid multiple data input
Facilitating interoperability between systems of the various organisms (by decreasing multilateral data exchanges) Providing stakeholders (labs, research institutions, higher education institutions and ministry) with a national and centralized IS for scientific research which shall enable them to share comprehensive and consistent reference data Issues EuroCRIS Members Meeting - May 2015 - © amue 2015<br>
slide3. 3 Joint CRIS IT projects We foster joint Research IS projects between Universities and research institutions by :
Setting up partnership IT projects in order to :
Pool existing applications and share them among all,
Identify and create applications needed but still missing,
Consolidate practices and processes within the community, so as to make them simpler.
Carrying out these IT projects with higher education institutions and research institutions

Annual consolidated budget setting of the research unit Purpose : a single national financial tool shared between Research units and institutions EuroCRIS Members Meeting - May 2015 - © amue 2015 Geslab is already deployed by CNRS in 1200 research units
We need to connect Geslab to the Finance & Accounting IS :
Starting with SIFAC (configurated SAP), deployed by Amue in 85 french universities Persons
